IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Margaret O
Crowe
February 21, 1914 – April 7, 2022
Margaret O. Crowe was born in Anna, TX, on February 21, 1914, and lived a glorious 108 years surviving two world wars and two pandemics. She was fondly known as Marg (with a hard g), grew up in Blackwell, OK, where she met and fell in love with L.C. Buck Crowe. They married in 1934 and formed a life-long partnership, both on and off the golf course, that lasted 64 years until his death in 1999. They are both survived by their daughter, M. Karen Crowe and son-in-law R. Michael Frenchman of New York City, and her beloved dog Shadow of Delray Beach, FL, her constant companion of the last 15 years, and her loving nursing team of Patti Weaver, Christine, Sandra, Claudeth, Chantel, Susan, and Patricia, all of whom helped her the last few years of her life. Karen has written a book titled "Leaning to Starboard," about the journey they have all made together. Closing chapters will now be added before publication. With the caring attention of Gary Panoch Funeral Home in Boca Raton, FL, who prepared transport, Marg will rest beside Buck at The Old Mission Mausoleum in Wichita, KS. Gifts in her memory should be made to Planned Parenthood of Wichita, Kansas; Wichita State University; or a cause of your choice.
