Louise Parme Rebel, 96, died peacefully on August 9, 2020 in Boca Raton, Florida. Born in Eveleth, Minnesota, she later relocated to Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.

A "special soul" her memory will be forever cherished by the many lives she touched throughout her lifetime. She spent years as a professional organist/pianist through teaching and performing. To this day, she was an avid reader and plant enthusiast. She also enjoyed "island living."

Work experiences as an elementary school reading intervention specialist, administrative assistant for company and private entities showcased her versatility. Volunteer work in the Cleveland and Chicago Metro Area(s), Outer Banks of North Carolina, also highlighted personal interests.

In addition, she proudly dedicated personal time to those in need of cancer consultation/support – herself a longtime breast cancer survivor. She was a supporting member of the American Institute for Cancer Research.

She was a lifetime member of the St. Charles Country Club, St. Charles, Illinois, and former member of the Anvil Club, Illinois and Village Beach Club in Nags Head, North Carolina.

She is preceded in death in death by her parents (John & Lousie Parme), sister, Marie Pluth and husband, Paul Vernon Rebel, Jr. She is survived by daughter, Amy Louise Rebel (Delray Beach, FL), and son, Lawrence P. Rebel (Bar Harbor, ME). She will join late husband Paul Vernon Rebel Jr. in eternal life at Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.
