Lenore Blinkoff (Zahn), 89, passed away peacefully in Sunny Days Assisted Living in Hollywood, FL. She was born on October 9, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Lenore was the beloved wife of the late Brian S. Blinkoff. She was a devoted mother to Todd A. Ehrlich and Pamela M. Venuto (Ehrlich), and mother-in-law to Denise M. Mika.

Lenore retired from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in 2004. Following her retirement, she and Brian relocated to Florida, where they enjoyed their retirement years and spent more time with Lenore’s beloved sister, Betty Blank, who has since passed away.

Lenore was an active and dedicated member of her community. She served as President of Women’s ORT, worked the polls, and volunteered her time teaching children to speak English. Helping others came naturally to Lenore, and she was always willing to give her time, kindness, and support to those around her.

Lenore had a zest for life and loved to laugh, dance, listen to music, appreciate art, and travel. She also enjoyed playing Boggle and various card games, particularly when she could share those moments with family and friends. Her warmth, wonderful sense of humor, and generous spirit brought happiness to those fortunate enough to know her.

Lenore had a way of making even the simplest moments memorable. Anyone who received a voicemail from her will surely remember her familiar sign-off: “Call when you pick up.” It was classic Lenore—warm, direct, and always wanting to hear from the people she loved.

Lenore was a proud grandmother to 11 grandchildren and a loving great-grandmother to 13 great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy and love into her life.

Her laughter, kindness, generosity, and love of life will be deeply missed and forever cherished by her family and all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the countless lives she touched and in the many happy memories she leaves behind.

A private Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026, in Furlong, Pennsylvania.

In honor of Lenore and Brian, their family will plant a tree in their memory, creating a living tribute to their lives and the love they shared. As the tree grows, it will serve as a lasting reminder of two lives that brought love, laughter, and cherished memories to their family.
