Kroupa, Lawrence "Captain Larry"

of Deerfield Beach passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family March 21, 2012 after a long courageous battle with lung cancer. He was a wonderful loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He worked as an offset printer in South Florida for the past 40 years and was with KAM Die Cutting until Feb 2012. Captain Larry was an avid sailor on his sailboat "My Dream Too" and made many trips with family and friends to the Bahama Islands. He served 2 years of active duty in the US Army. Larry is survived by his loving wife Connie, and sons David (Jackie), Todd (Abby) and Predeceased by son Troy(1986). He also raised 2 daughters Jennifer (Tom), Kristina (Jeff) along with granddaughter Alexis. Grandfather of David (Lauren), Jennifer (Brandon), Alexis, Lexus, Ryan, 2 great-grandchildren Logan and Tyler and many nieces and nephews. A Military Service will be held for the family and a Celebration of Captain Larry's life will be in May. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of his life can be made to the American Lung Association or American Cancer Society.
