Karen Marie Chisholm, 75, of Boca Raton, FL died Sunday December 1, 2013 at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was a resident of South Florida since 1953, after moving from New Jersey. Karen was the longest tenured Palm Beach County school bus driver with over 35 years on the road at the time of her retirement. She and her late husband Richard were among the founding members of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church and School. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard A. Sr after 45 years of marriage, her mother Amelia, sisters Diane Aiello and Lynn Ek. She was also predeceased by grandson, RJ Chisholm. She is survived by her 6 loving and devoted sons, Richard (Denise), Ron (Angie), Russell (Patty), Rand (Lisa), Robert (Sarah) and her baby Ryan, 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother-in-laws, Dave Ek and Bob Lawlor and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, especially Susan Brady. A Funeral Mass will be offered Monday, December 9, 2013, 6:00 PM at Ascension Catholic Church 7250 N. Federal HWY Boca Raton Fl. 33487. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her name.
