Juris Hartmanis, 68, of Boca Raton, FL passed away September 20, 2019. A resident of South Florida for 50 years, he is survived by his beloved children; Elena (Bruce) Sher, Jessica (Luke) Maillis, Christopher Hartmanis, Denice (Myron) Shewchuk, brother Janis (Sylvia) Hartmanis, sister Ilze (Norm) carbery, grandchildren; Max and Samantha Sher, Paul and Madeline Shewchuk. Juris enjoyed many outdoor activities including sailing, fishing, swimming, body surfing, the shooting range and judo. He will always be remembered for his quick wit and good sense of humor. Services will be private.
