Juan (John) (Johnny) Sanchez, 82, of Pompano Beach, Florida passed away at home on February 10, 2024

Born July 20, 1941 in Santa Fe, NM. He served in the Air Force. After his service he moved to Springfield Massachusetts. There he began his career as a certified orthopedic technologist. He worked a total of 52 years in this field, starting at Bay State Medical Center in Springfield, then moved to Florida in 1990, where he worked at North Ridge Medical Center for many years and finally for Imperial Point Medical Center, until he retired in 2019.

John was a man who would go above and beyond. Always caring for others and putting their needs first. He loved his family, especially his grandkids who he always talked to everyone about. He had the greatest smile that was contagious and a goofy sense of humor. He always had a story to tell for every situation. He loved to bowl and play tennis. He also loved his snacks!

John will be lovingly remembered by his son, Brian, daughter in law, Katie and 3 wonderful grandchildren, Abigail, Mishael and Hannah, whom he loved very much. His sister, Esther Pearce, brother, Lou Sanchez and his sister in law, Judy Brown. He was preceded in death by his wife Cynthia (Cindy)

A Funeral Service in memory of John will be held on Tuesday, February 27, 2024, 12pm at the funeral home. Burial, with military honors, will be at The South Florida National Cemetery at 2pm. A gathering will be held and the Sanchez home after the burial all are welcome.
