Josephine J Preble - Born in New York City, New York on October 14, 1925. She passed on October 22, 2017 at 2:20 a.m. She is survived by loving children; Vijay Sankara, Ellen Gray, Gary Preble, Wayne Preble, grandchildren: Vincent Gray, Debra Neser, Eesan Sankara, Kumar Sankara, Teresa Falkowski, Jennifer Preble, Joseph Preble, great-grandchildren: Dante Gray, Michael Neser, Vincent Gray, Jr., and Logan Neser.
Josephine Preble was a riveter during the war putting together planes for her country. She worked for AT&T in New York for over thirty years until she retired in Boynton Beach, Florida. She married Private First Class Elmo Pandolfini in 1944 who died in the war in France and then later married Alfred Preble, deceased. Grandma loved ALL of her FAMILY with her whole heart, she was the nucleolus of family gatherings, lasagna Sunday dinner, the peacemaker, she loved to travel, do crossword puzzles and play spider solitaire. Grandma was very close to God. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going to the beach.
A funeral mass will be celebrated Monday, October 23, 2017, 9:30am at St Vincent Ferrer Catholic Church, Delray Beach, FL.
