Josephine Laieta "Josy""Mimi" of Boynton Beach, FL passed away June 1, 2021 at the age of 87 years old. Josy was born November 21st 1933 in Amityville, Long Island, NY. She raised her family in Lindenhurst, NY later moving to Boynton Beach, FL in 1994. Josephine will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 65 years, Domenick, her loving children; Guy, Patrick, Jacqulyn (Brendan) Byrne, Toni (Thomas) Nuccio and Mark. Mimi's grandchildren include; Mark, Kevin, & Brett Byrne; Mark & Christina Laieta; Josephine & Thomas Nuccio; Nick (Brianna) Webb and great-grandchild Barrett Webb and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Josephine's siblings include; Charles and Cathy. She was predeceased by her sister Leona Ridder and brother Patrick Downey.

A funeral mass will be celebrated Friday, June 4, 2021, 11am at St. Mark's Catholic Church, 643 St Mark Pl, Boynton Beach, FL 33435. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Josephine's life. Burial will follow at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery, Royal Palm Beach, FL.
