Josephine "JO" "Josie" "Chich" "Chichi" Berardi, 89, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away at her home on November 12th, 2020 surrounded by her husband and loving children and grand kids.

Born May 8, 1931 in the Bronx, New York where she spent her younger years, she moved to Pelham, New York where she graduated from Walton High School in the Bronx. A few years after marrying her husband Nick in 1956, she moved to Westport, Connecticut in 1964 where she spent most of her life (some 50 plus years). She loved living in Westport and especially enjoyed Compo Beach, the Westport Playhouse, The Levitt Pavilion, The Catholic Daughter's Association, Stew Leonard's and walking to town from her house on Main Street but her heart was always in the Bronx.

Jo opened a women's dress shop in 1984 in Fairfield, Connecticut called "JO BERARDI" where for over 20 years she spent most of her day making friends and selling the latest in women's fashions. She got her love for clothing and fashion from her father Joseph Fondrisi who worked in the garment district in New York City designing women's clothing. She was known by many and always went out of her way to help people; anyone, anytime, anywhere. She always put others first and would not let too much time go by without an extended family reunion.

Jo will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband Nick of 64 years, her loving children Mark and Ginee, her loving daughter-in-law Cyndi, her beloved grandchildren Josephine, Grace, Anna, and Juliana, and her brother John and sister Benette.

A private funeral service in memory of Jo will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will be held after the service on the same day at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
