Joe Joseph Eugene Manders. Born, March 25, 1947 - Died, September 27, 2025

Joe was born in Augusta, Georgia and graduated from North Augusta High School. After graduating, Joe moved to Ft. Lauderdale, where he went to college and received a bachelors degree in business. Once he graduated college, he went on to work for Westing House in the human resources department.

After his retirement, Joe moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where he met his future partner of 32 years, Dennis Hill. Together, the two of them opened up a childrens shop in Phipps Plaza, Atlanta, GA which they ran together for many years. In 2013, the two finally moved to Boca Raton, Florida.

Throughout their time together, Joe and his husband traveled all through the Caribbean and the Bahamas on many cruises. Once they were done traveling, Joe and Dennis settled down to become Funeral Assistants at Gary Panoch Funeral Home.

Joe is survived by his sister, Shirley Goldmen, and his many nieces and nephews. He was laid to rest on October 4, 2025, at Westover Cemetery, in Augusta, Georgia
