Rogers, Joreen "Jeri" W., 88, of Deerfield Beach, Florida passed away on August 7, 2025

Jeri was born in rural Wisconsin on May 23, 1937. She later moved to the "big city" of Oshkosh, Wisconsin and really shined in her high school years where she was actively involved in drama and cheerleading and went on to become both Homecoming Queen and May Queen her senior year. After high school, she briefly attended Iowa State University before moving to New York City to become a stewardess for Eastern Airlines. It was there that she met her husband Richard "Dick" Rogers, a pilot for Eastern. They moved to Lighthouse Point, Florida, shortly thereafter to raise their family. After the kids grew up, Jeri also became a local real estate agent. In her later years, she moved to Deer Creek where she formed many wonderful friendships with her neighbors.

Jeri was preceded in death by her parents, Dorothy Allmers and Harry Wussow, her brother Dennis Wussow, and her sister Sandra Distefano.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Laura Sposato (Stephen Sposato), and Christopher Rogers (Yadira Rogers), and six grandchildren, Zack Sposato, Sam Sposato, Luke Sposato, Veronica Rogers, Christian Rogers, and Sebastian Rogers.
