Obituary

John McLoughlin was born in Queens New York on October 3, 1941 and passed away on March 1, 2015. John spent his early years in a large loving family, led by his loving mother nellie and father richard, and was the youngest of his 5 siblings. At the young age of 19 John met what he would quickly realize was the love of his life, and future wife Patricia Rashbrook (now McLoughlin). After several honorable years in the US Navy, John became a lineman (and later troubleman for the ConEdison power company. Together, Pat and John would move out to the suburbs of Long Island to raise their growing family in a beautiful ranch style home in the small town of Kings Park, NY. John will be dearly missed by his living children, Trisha and Dawn, and upon his death was reunited with his belated son Timothy, and daughter Kelly. John was blessed with many grandchildren, Katelyn, Bella, Emily, Michael, Kara, Jack, Tim, and Peter, each of whom he loved dearly. John had a love and passion for the stock market, and did considerably well in the years following his retirement from ConEdison. John was a quiet man, but those that knew him knew him for his great kindness, generosity and witty sense of humor. Family and friends are invited to attend a service for John at Ascension Catholic Church, 7250 N. Federal Highway, Boca Raton, 11:00 a.m. Monday, March 9, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to St. Judes Childrens hospital, or any other worthy children's charity.
