John Edward McCrodden Jr. "Johnny Irish," of Fort Lauderdale, FL  formerly of Brooklyn, NY passed away on September 14, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 18 years and best friend, Helene Cohen, parents; John and Katherine, sisters; Suzanne Madison and Laura Chatman. John moved to Fort Lauderdale to fulfill his dream of helping those afflicted by alcohol and substance abuse. He was dedicated to his church, Calvary Chapel, and will always be remembered for his generosity and sense of humor. John enjoyed the beach, boating, fishing, biking, eating and especially comedy.
