John Paul Lachman, 74,  of Boca Raton, Florida; beloved father of John, Nicole and Megan, a Decorated Veteran of both the US Military and New York Police Department, friend to many and counselor to some, has shuffled off this mortal coil this past Wednesday, September 9, 2020 surrounded by his family in his daughter's Delaware home.

He was a coach, a partner, a confidant and a counselor throughout his life.  He was our father, and he shall be missed.

Born September 5, 1946 to John and Elsie, he was called onward by his loving wife Connie who had passed 2 years ago just days apart from his mother, Elsie.

He was my foundation, the gnomon of my moral compass; his influence and guidance shall be ever present in all future endeavors, and plainly evident in the works of his children.

We love you, Dad.  Go in peace.

A visitation for John will be held Friday, September 25, 2020 from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at Gary Panoch Funeral home with burial to follow at the South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL.
