John Demetrios Karageorges, 83, passed away August 6, 2013. He is survived by his loving daughters; Kathi (Tim) Sharp, Pam (Tom) Robison, Nicole (John) Cammarata, 5 grandchildren; Kyla, Kara, Klae, Olivia and Aiden. John was predeceased by his; parents, first wife Celia and 2 sisters. Tragedy Struck in 1979, taking his son Demetri. Born in Somerville, MA to John and Katherine as a first generation American, he graduated from Somerville High School then served in the US Marines and graduated from Boston University. He retired from John Hancock Insurance Co and later worked as a school crossing guard. He married in 1958, lived in Ft. Lauderdale and had 4 children. Although they divorced, John and Celia remained good friends. John lived for his family and the "Glory of God." He was also blessed with many friends.
