Joan Marie Fitzsimmons, 76, of Boca Raton, FL, passed away on June 21, 2022.  A New York native, Joan had relocated to South Florida 20 years ago to be with her loving children Brian and Donna (Jon) Longo, and the joys of her life, her three grandchildren Braden, Tyler, and Makena Longo.  Joan loved doting on her grandchildren and attending their sporting events and musical concerts.  She will always be remembered for being a caring, loving mother and grandmother.  Joan is also survived by her former husband and lifelong friend Gerald Fitzsimmons, as well as her sister Patricia Stahli.  The services will be held in New York.
