Jessica was born on January 26, 1977 in Miami Beach, Florida and passed away November 5, 2013 in Delray Beach, Florida. She is survived by her devoted husband, Jason F. Cohen; loving parents, Pam and Mathew Zayne; sisters, Felicia and Cassie; brother, Derek; grandmother, Tina Pallas Vanderbush; in-laws, Fran and Bob Cohen; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Caroline and Alex Smolka; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Jessica attended Forest High School in Ocala, Florida and college at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida. Being an avid Florida State fan, she got to enjoy one final defeat over UM before her passing. Jess was also a health enthusiast and thoroughly enjoyed spinning, running, and exercising. If it was a sunny Florida day, you were sure to find Jess soaking up the sun at the beach, with her toes in the sand.

Jessica was an LPN at Delray Medical Center. She was an inspiration to her co-workers and received numerous accolades from previous patients and their families. She thoroughly enjoyed going to work each day and helping others. Jess was known for putting others' needs before her own and was a true inspiration to anyone who knew her.

Visitation and Memorial Services will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at 3:00 pm at Gary Panoch Funeral Home, 6140 N. Federal Hwy., Boca Raton, FL 33407. In lieu of flowers, her family asks that donations be made to Accelerate Brain Cancer Cure.
