James L. Daly, beloved husband, father , and grandfather, passed away July 16, 2013, after a long illness. Formerly of Binghamton, New York, and Rochester, Minnesota, Jim lived the past 34 years with his family in Boca Raton, Florida.

Jim was born May 5, 1936, and raised in Binghamton. He entered the Apprentice Program at IBM corporation before graduating from high school in 1956. In 1958, he married the love of his life, Dawn (Harris). The couple moved to Rochester, where they raised their daughters. In 1979, they relocated to Boca Raton, where he finished his 33-year career with IBM.

Golfing, fishing, watching baseball (and all other sports), and spending time with his family were Jim's greatest passions. He was a kind and generous man, and he will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Dawn Daly, daughters Deborah (Michael) Davenport and Cindy (John) Daly-Young, and grandchildren, Dustin Davenport, Melanie Davenport, and Travis Young, brother Fred Daly, and sister, Barbara Daly.
