Jake Patrick Dunbrook, 33, born January 24, 1988; in Hollywood, Florida; left this life far too early and passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, October 10, 2021, the son of a loving mother Carmen Bengochea and his deceased father Jeffrey Dunbrook.
Jake is survived by his three beloved sons, whom he greatly adored; Jeremy Dunbrook (13), Julian Dunbrook (10), Jovanni Dunbrook (18 months), his loving mother Carmen Bengochea, his brother Joey MontsDeOca, his nephews: Joseph and Andrew; his beloved aunts Rosie Bengochea (Elita) and Maite Graff (Alan), his uncle Michael Bengochea and his devoted grandmother Rosa C. Bengochea.
Jake loved his family very much, and loved our family get togethers, especially, if his mom Carmen was doing the cooking. Jake enjoyed many things in life, he had a very creative mind from the love of drawing and tattooing, to writing lyrics. There were only a selected few who would get to hear him rap, with his mother being one of them. But most of all, he loved to make people laugh and smile. He had a knack for telling jokes. We would often tell him he should be a stand-up comedian and take his jokes on the road. He truly had a well-developed sense of humor and the ability to make others laugh out loud.
Jake was a child at heart, and his sense of humor brightened our family's life. He would blow raspberries on his youngest son's belly, pretend to fall over & over again just to get him to crack a smile. He enjoyed being with his nephews, playing catch with them, and taking them fishing with his son Jeremy when he would come to visit. He was loving and kind to everyone who knew him.
Jake will be sorely missed, and forever lovingly remembered by his entire family, for all who knew him, and his great smile.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at 4:00pm at the funeral home.
