Iris Cabeza, a devoted wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 73, surrounded by her loving family in Boca Raton, Florida.
Born with a nurturing soul on July 1, 1950, Iris dedicated her life to her family and home. For 46 years, she shared a profound bond of love and companionship with her beloved husband, Antonio Cruz Sr. Together, they built a life filled with warmth, laughter, and cherished memories.
Iris leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her beloved children: Antonio Cruz Jr, Alexander Cruz, and Madeline Cabeza. She was not only a loving mother but also a source of unwavering support and guidance to her family.
In addition to her immediate family, Iris is survived by her dear brother, Jose Antonio Cabeza, and his wife, Iris, her granddaughter Bianca Rodriguez, and two adoring great-grandchildren.
Iris found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life, particularly in the warmth of her family and the comfort of her home. As a dedicated homemaker, she poured her heart into creating a welcoming and nurturing environment for her loved ones. Her passion for cooking, cleaning, and decorating her home reflected her love and dedication to her family.
Above all, Iris will be remembered for her boundless compassion and generosity. She possessed a heart of gold and would selflessly give to others without hesitation. Her kindness and willingness to always put others first touched the lives of all who knew her.
Although she may no longer be with us in person, Iris's spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved and touched. Her legacy of love, kindness, and selflessness will continue to inspire and guide us all.
