Herman Bent 05/06/45 – 02/05/20

Herman Bent, originally from Southfield, St. Elizabeth, Jamaica; formerly of Coral Springs and recently of Boca Raton was born May 6,1945 and peacefully went to sleep on February 5, 2020 after a short illness.  He worked tirelessly for many years as a farmer, master gardener and landscaper and will be sorely missed by his many satisfied customers and friends.  He is survived by two daughters Cherisse and Corine and a host of family, church members and friends.

The Wake for Herman will be held at the Deerfield Beach SDA Church on Saturday February 29, 2020 starting at 7:30 pm. The church is located at 350 NW 1st Terrace, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441. Funeral services will follow on March 1, 2020 at the Deerfield Beach SDA Church. Viewing begins at 9am and services at 10am.  Interment follows at Boynton Beach Memorial Park and Mausoleum (off Seacrest and Woolbright) in Boynton Beach. A repast is provided at the church hall of the Deerfield Beach SDA church following the funeral.

Viewing will be held Sunday, March 1, 2020 9-10am with a 10am funeral service at the Deerfield Beach Seventh Day Adventist Church - Phone, (954) 360-2900 · Address. 350 NW 1st Terrace Deerfield Beach, Florida 33441. Burial will follow.
