Henry Lee, age 101, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully in hospice care on May 26, 2024. Born on June 16, 1922, in Guangdong, China, Henry immigrated to the United States at the age of 13. With determination and resilience, he worked diligently to master the English language and support his family back in China.

In 1942, Henry enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a Medic, courageously serving his adopted country during World War II. Following his honorable discharge, he pursued higher education at Albany College, where he graduated in 1950 as the first Asian male pharmacist.

Henry owned and operated a successful pharmacy in Cobleskill, New York, for nearly 30 years. He was an esteemed community leader, serving on the Boards of Directors for Sterling Insurance Company and Dime Bank. Known for his philanthropy, Henry made numerous anonymous donations to various causes, reflecting his deep compassion and generosity.

In 1965, Henry and his beloved wife Anne actively advocated for the Immigration and Nationality Act, facilitating immigration opportunities for Asians worldwide. After retiring at 62, Henry and Anne moved to Florida, where they relished the warm weather and beach life. They traveled extensively, embracing life's adventures to the fullest.

Henry was a devoted father and an inspirational role model, known for his wisdom, generosity, and humor. His quick wit and light-hearted nature endeared him to all who knew him. Even after Anne's passing in 2000, Henry continued to live vibrantly and support his loved ones.

Henry Lee's legacy of kindness, leadership, and service will be cherished by his family and friends. Family will receive friends Saturday, June 1, 2024,1-3pm with a 1:30pm Funeral Service with military honors in his memory at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Henry's memory to Boca Raton Community Church .

Henry Lee's remarkable life journey, filled with love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to others, will forever remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.
