Helen Lessard passed away October 7, 2015 surrounded by her family in Boca Raton, Florida at the age of 60. Helen was born in Brooklyn, New York. She was a graduate of John Jay High School. She moved to Staten Island, New York where she raised her three children Heather, Jennifer and Keith. Helen then moved to Boca Raton, Florida in 2003 to be closer to her family. Helen loved spending time with her family, her days working for the New York City Parks Department and reading. She was also a true trivia buff. She leaves behind her daughter Jennifer Lessard and son Keith Soraci, her grandchildren Ashley Castellano, Courtney D'Arduini , A.J. D'Arduini and Martin Skaff, as well as her sisters Kathleen (Darrell) Burnam and Peggy (Rick) Versace, her brother John Rose in addition to 16 nieces and nephews. Predeceased by the love of her life Steve Soraci, her daughter Heather Skaff and her parents Harmen and Theresa Rose. Family will receive friends Sunday, October 11, 2015, 2-4 & 6-8 at the funeral home. Family and friends are invited to attend her burial mass at St. Jude's Catholic Church, 21689 Toledo Rd. Boca Raton, FL 33433. The burial mass will take place Monday, October 12th at 11:00am at St. Jude Catholic Church.
