Hoyt, Helen J., 92, of Lake Worth and Plantation, died November 21, 2016.  A resident of South Florida for over 50 years, she is survived by her loving children, C. Way Hoyt Jr., Shelley H. Hoyt, and Deborah J. Dixon; grandsons Paul, Robert, Michael, and Gregory; great-grandchildren Brittany, Edward, Madeline, Brooke, Brandon, Bobby, and Victor. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, C. Way Hoyt, Sr., and daughter, Judy.

Helen loved her family first, and then anything to do with nature—plants, animals, and birds. For many years she volunteered at Secret Woods County Park, Fern Forest County Park, and The Wildlife Care Center of Ft. Lauderdale.  She will always be remembered for the love she gave her family and for being such a warm, caring, and likable person. Funeral services will be private.
