Biography

Helen Theresa Ehrgott, 92, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away October 26, 2013. She is survived by her loving daughter Susan With-DecHelen was first and foremost a family person. She cherished her family above anything else. She would sacrifice and do without so that her children would never be without.
Helen came from humble roots, one of eleven siblings. She was raised in New York when times were extremely tough and some times severe. Helen was always the one who lovingly looked after her brothers and sisters and when the need arose, she took them into her home and cared for them in their time of need. She was a good Catholic and followed the practices of the Catholic Church.
Helen was an extremely hard working person. She worked all of her life up until the age of 80. She was a matron on a school bus, working with handicapped children. It would not be uncommon to see Helen bringing food and gifts to those children on her bus who were less fortunate. She loved and cared for her husband Jim dearly, up until the day he passed away 3 years ago. Family will receive friends, Wednesday, October 30, 2013, 6-8pm with a 7pm funeral service. Burial will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
