Obituary

In loving memory of Gardner C. Bush, JR., who passed away peacefully at the age of 84 on October 21, 2011. Gardner was born July 17, 1927, and raised in the Westville Section of New Haven, Connecticut. He served his country honorably in the Merchant Marine Corp during World War II, at which time he married his wife. Gardner owned and operated a country club supply house called Commercial Sales in CT, MA, and NY. He resided with his family in Cheshire, CT. After retirement he and his wife resided in Brewster, MA and Boca Raton, FL. Gardner is survived by his loving wife, Jeannette K. Bush, of 65 years; two daughters, Diane Bush Levine (Son-in-law, Jim Levine) and Jeannette A. Bush; three grandchildren, Deirdre Rudy Chase, David Dolan, and Cheryl Egan; and two great-grandchildren, Skye Rudy and Mariana Dolan. Gardner was an active member of Masonic Lodge, Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite, Shriners International, Royal Order of the Jesters, and a member of the Elks Club. A church service will be held at Spanish River Church, 2400 Yamato Road, Boca Raton, FL on Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 1:30pm.
