IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Frank
Bley
September 2, 1950 – March 16, 2015
Frank Roy Bley was born in Havana, Cuba on September 2, 1950. He came to the U.S.A. as a child with his brother as it was their parent's dream for a bright future. As one of the 14,000 Peter Pan Operation Cuban children that traveled alone to save him from the communist regime of the island, Frank and his siblings and eventually, his parents would find peace and home in America. It was in his new home nation where Frank would receive his education in his great interest in Computer Engineering.
He found true love in Miriam Bley and in California had two children, Frank Brian and Amy Marie. Frank loved his family unconditionally and was an inspiring influence of perseverance and workmanship. His greatest priority was providing for his family and making sure they never were in need. Always ready to give advice or fix something, even when it wasn't broken, Frank cared for his family and others in the most selfless way. Throughout his life, he would be recognized for his care and also, his laughter. Besides sharing political theories, to counsel in finances, to putting together a car engine, or handiwork in home improvement, Frank was known for his one-of-kind laughter. His laughter would fill rooms, grab attention, and always lighten the atmosphere. Frank's family would recollect numerous stories about his laughter and the moments that sparked it.
His wife and children are forever molded by Frank's strength and passion. They will go on following Frank's dreams for their happiness, success and love. The family will live with the learned lessons of displayed integrity of hard work, leadership, and humility. He will forever be loved and missed.
Family will receive friends, Thursday, March 19, 2015, 6-7pm with a 7pm Celebration of Life Service at the funeral home.
