Frances Mignano

Frances Mignano, 87, of Boynton Beach, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026.

Born on January 23, 1939, in Borgetto, Italy, Frances was the beloved daughter of Salvatore and Rosalie Barretta (née Buffa). She carried her Italian heritage proudly throughout her life, most beautifully expressed through her love of cooking. Frances found great joy in preparing delicious meals for her family and friends, especially during the holidays. She had a discerning eye for quality ingredients—because to her, not everything was “good enough”—and took pride in every dish she created.

Frances also enjoyed watching Italian television and shopping for the finest ingredients for her recipes. She will always be remembered for her warm sense of humor and her unique way of making others feel special—often by cooking their favorite meal with love and care.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Francine (John) Felice and Annie Corazza; her son-in-law, Peter Virgona; her cherished grandchildren, Lino Felice, Anthony (Samantha) Corazza, and Joseph (Giovanna) Corazza; and her adored great-granddaughter, Josephine Corazza.

Frances was predeceased by her beloved husband, Giuseppe, with whom she shared 59 wonderful years of marriage, and her dear daughter, Rosamaria Virgona.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, April 6, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Catholic Church. Frances will be laid to rest following the Mass with her husband and daughter at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Cemetery.

Frances’ legacy of love, laughter, and family traditions will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.
