It is with love and heartfelt sadness that we announce the sudden death of EVERETT STANLEY PHILLIPS II, known to friends as, "BUTCH" on September 26, 2012 at North Broward Medical Center in Pompano Beach, FL. Butch was born on May 31, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He relocated to Deerfield Beach, FL in 1979. He worked in the automobile industry and had a passion for the culinary arts.
Butch is deeply mourned by his wife of 26 years, Cathy, their beloved daughters, Lauren Ashley and Jana Lynn, and his sister Sandra Pittman (Jack) of Cincinnati, OH. He is also fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. A Celebration of Butch's life will be held on Saturday, October 6, at 2:30 p.m. at First United Methodist Church (FUMC) of Boca Raton, 625 Northeast Mizner Boulevard, with a reception immediately following. Memorial donations in memory of Butch may be made to FUMC for Celebrate Recovery or Youth Ministry.
