Evelyn Holtzman Torres 73 of Boca Raton, Florida passed away at the Miami Cancer Institute on July 9th, 2022. Evelyn was a hairdresser and homemaker.
Born July 24th,1948 in New York, New York to Tomasa Gonzalez and Manuel Torres of Puerto Rico. Evelyn moved from New York City where she was raised to Staten Island, New York and lived there for many years creating wonderful and meaningful friendships while also playing the role of two parents. She did it in a way that never let on how many sacrifices she made. She was a second mother to many. Evelyn had a selfless heart and was always there to offer support to her children, family members and friends. Evelyn had a zest for life; she loved cooking, music, dancing and having family gatherings. She loved to travel, was an avid reader. She loved animals and children. Evelyn was a very happy person and had a great sense of humor regardless of the circumstances she had to face.  She opened her heart and home to many and touched the lives of all those who came in contact with her. She married her longtime sweetheart and best friend of 10 years, Albert Torres on May 27th, 2016.  They were very much in Love and he always gave her his Love and Support.
She is survived by her loving husband Albert Torres. Her sons Joseph Holtzman,

Anthony Panarese and Albert Torres Jr. Her two daughters Marilyn Quinones and Angela Soto. Her grandsons Daniel Ramos, Christopher Soto. Her granddaughters Evelyn Ramos, Rene Soto, Nikiena Perez. Great granddaughter Jade Ramos Great grandsons Adrian Ramos, Antonio Ramos, Christopher Ramos. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Survived by her Eldest brother Miguel A. Quinones. Her sister Luz (Saba) Velez. Sister N Law Edmee Torres, Joan (Candy) Gunsaulus. Survived by her closest and dearest friends Christine De Noble, Trish Negron, Carmen Garced, Diane Pulice, Marybeth, Toni Ann Blackler-Kleinman.
Evelyn was predeceased by her Mother Tomasa Gonzalez and father Manuel Torres. Her sister Eileen Torres, her brothers Manuel (Bobby) Torres, Joseph Torres, Richard Torres. Her grandson Christopher Meyers, Niece Debra Ann Quinones, nephew Michael Angel Quinones.
Memorial Service will be held on Friday July 15th, 2022 @ 4:00 at 23355 Boca Trace Dr Boca Raton FL 33433.
