On Saturday, March 7, 2020 Ettore (Ed) Petrone, a resident of Boca Raton and south Florida since 1993, passed away peacefully in his sleep.  He was 90 years old.

Raised in Boonton, New Jersey, Ed obtained a bachelor's degree in Engineering and had a MBA from Fairleigh Dickson College.  He was an Army veteran and worked as an engineer in the aerospace industry his entire life until he retired.  He served as an usher for many years at St. Jude's Catholic Church in Boca Raton and enjoyed talking politics with anyone who enjoyed the same.  Additionally, he loved watching sports, particularly Basketball as he was a huge Miami Heat fan.

He was the beloved husband to the late Judith Zimnick and devoted father to Anthony Petrone (wife JoAnn) of Coral Springs, Joseph Petrone (wife Mary) of Boca Raton and Elizabeth Wheeler (husband Mark) also of Boca Raton.  Loving Grandfather of Anthony Petrone Jr., Dominic Petrone, Alexa Petrone, Conor Petrone, Matthew Petrone, Sarah Wheeler and Daniel Wheeler.

A Funeral Mass will be offered for him and his wife at St. Jude's Catholic Church located at 21689 Toledo Road, Boca Raton, FL 33433 pending date and times.
