Elizabeth (Libby) Mackey Postlethwaite, 98, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away March 23, 2022. She had been a resident of Boca Raton for 46 years.
Libby grew up in Newark, Ohio. She attended Marietta College and graduated with a degree in economics. After college, she returned to Newark and worked as a librarian, which fueled her passion for reading and current events. She met her husband, Fred, during this time.
Libby, Fred, and their 3 children relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana.  She helped Fred build his business while raising their children and assisting in various charity work.
After Libby and Fred moved to Boca Raton in the 70's, they became early supporters of Boca Community Hospital and Lynn University.
She was an avid reader, loved traveling, doing crossword puzzles, and enjoyed fine wine.
Libby is predeceased by her husband, Frederick Russell Postlethwaite, Sr.  She is survived by her children Frederick "Fritz" Russell, Jr. ( Susan Sloan), Beth (Jim Millar) and Linda Postlethwaite.
A private memorial will be planned at a later date. Memorial donations may be made in Elizabeth's name to Boca Raton Regional Hospital or Lynn University.
