Obituary of Elisa M. Lovelace

Elisa M. Lovelace, 77, died Monday, May 2, 2016 in Boca Raton, Florida, at the home of her eldest daughter, Esther Herrera.

Elisa was a native of the Dominican Republic but chose to bring up her family on Long Island, New York. She worked arduously alongside her husband, Luis D. Lovelace, in Christian ministry. Together they served and touched the lives of many people in the name of Jesus. They made a difference in the communities they resided, including Gilbert, Arizona, where Elisa continued her fervent work after her husband passed away in 1993. She later moved to West Boca Raton in 2003 and continued to impact her community by visiting nursing homes and reaching out to the elderly patients with the love of Jesus.

She is survived by her five married children: Esther Herrera of Boca Raton, FL, Luis Lovelace Jr. of Dallas, GA, Isaac Lovelace of Wantagh, NY, Daniel Lovelace of Chandler, AZ, and Elisa Lovelace Jones of East Aurora, NY. She left 17 grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday at 10:30AM at Church of All Nations, 1300 NW 4th Avenue, Boca Raton, FL. Burial will follow immediately after the service at Boca Raton Cemetery.
