Elfriede "Peggy" Conley, 81, of Boca Raton, Florida passed away unexpectedly on December 12th, 2022.

Born February 16th, 1941, in Munich Germany, Elfriede was raised in Germany and later moved to America to marry and raise a family with her first husband, Bob.  She and Bob met while he was serving in the U.S. Army in Germany. She quickly adapted to America, learning the language by watching television, and took on the name Peggy that was given to her by her friends after the song "Peggy Sue" played on the jukebox.

Peggy and Bob adopted their daughter Dawn, and their son, Ed. Peggy loved being a mother and it was her proudest achievement in life. She loved spending time with family and friends. Her fondest memories were summers at the cabin they built themselves in Stillwater, Minnesota, boating, fishing, and cooking out on the grill.

After an RV vacation to Florida, the family decided to relocate to Pompano Beach in 1985 for warmer weather and a change of pace.

After Bob passed in the early 2000s, Peggy was introduced to her second husband Bill by friends. They married on March 24, 2006, in Las Vegas. Together they enjoyed trips to Germany, ocean cruises, and road trips all over the U.S.

Peggy was well-loved for how caring and giving she was. She never let anyone leave her house empty-handed. If someone was going through a rough time, she would arrive with emotional support and baked goods. She cherished every friendship dearly.

Peggy will lovingly be remembered by her beloved husband Bill of 16 years, her loving son Ed and daughter-in-law Autumn, grandchildren Matthew and Nathan, her brother Rudy, and sister Olga. She is predeceased by her daughter Dawn.

A funeral service in memory of Peggy will be held on December 16th at 2pm EST at the funeral home. A live stream of the service will be available on the funeral website 30 minutes prior to the service.
