Biography

Edith Schneider, lovingly known as Edie, went to be with her Lord and Savior January 7th, 2011. A memorial service in celebration of her life will be held on Tues, January 11th at 3:15pm at St. Andrews North (6152 Verde Trail North.) Her favorite Bible verses were -- "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16) and "This is the day the Lord hath made, we will rejoice and be glad in it" (Psalm 118:24.) Edie lived with her husband, Ed for 43 years, and then upon his death, moved to Saint Andrews North 3 years ago. Edie took on the role of encouragement and caring as she visited many of the residents at Willowbrooke Court. She is well known for her smile and her stuffed animals that sand and told stories. Edie was very involved in children's ministry in the various churches she attended over the years and there are many who fondly remember the impact she has had on their lives. She was freatly loved by her family. Her familyu greatly appreciates everyone who has had a part in her care and Have been overwhelmed by the love they have shown.
