Obituary

Dylan Michael Pesti, born on December 31, 1995, in San Jose, California, departed from this world suddenly on February 10, 2024. Dylan, a resident of South Florida for the past five years, originally hailed from Virginia. He was the beloved son of Joseph G. Pesti and Jennifer Sessions-Vega, cherished brother of Aimee Pesti, and devoted father to his two-year-old daughter, Sarah Pesti, with her mother, Mayra Romero.

Serving as a sergeant in the US Army, Dylan dedicated himself to his country with honor and commitment. Beyond his military service, Dylan embraced life with a passion for numerous pursuits. He found profound joy in spending time with his daughter, relishing the simple pleasures of parenthood. An adventurer at heart, Dylan reveled in the outdoors, whether he was skateboarding through the streets or immersing himself in the tranquility of nature. He found solace and excitement in the digital realm, enjoying video games that ignited his imagination. Music was a constant companion, providing a soundtrack to his life's journey.

Cooking was not just a necessity but a creative outlet for Dylan, who delighted in crafting delicious meals to share with loved ones. However, perhaps one of his favorite pastimes was shooting pool with his father, Joe, creating cherished memories and strengthening their bond with each game.

Those who knew Dylan will forever remember him for his loving, goofy manner, always ready with a smile or a joke to brighten someone's day. His generous spirit knew no bounds, as he would readily extend a helping hand and give selflessly to those in need. Dylan's kindness and willingness to give his all, even to strangers, exemplified the very best of humanity.

A funeral service honoring Dylan's life, with military honors befitting his service to his country, will be held 11am, Friday, August 8, 2025 at the South Florida National Cemetery. While Dylan may have departed from this world far too soon, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.

In loving memory of Dylan Michael Pesti, may he rest in eternal peace.
