Duperley Carter was born on September 23, 1932 in Manchester, Jamaica. In the year of 1973, he bravely relocated with his family and wife, Olive Carter; to start a new beginning in the state of New York. There, they both laid the foundation of their children and for generations to come. His legacy is survived by his loving wife, Olive Carter; and five children; Patricia Carter, Jennifer Carter, Sonia Smith, Wayne Carter and Sandra Carter. He was loved and admired dearly by his grandchildren: Christopher Swaby, Debbie Carter, Karen Carter, Cassey Smith and Ashley Carter. His great-grandchildren, Jeremy Carter and Zahavah Wallen were given the privilege to witness his being. His unparalleled efforts as a provider and father has transcended into the creation of profound and self-sufficient individuals. The Carter blood was created strong and will remain that way, unscathed.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, May 15, 2018, 10am to 1pm with a 1pm service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Palm Beach Memorial Park.
