Dragica (Mavrenovic) Jovanov went to be with The Lord on December 26, 2014. Dragica was born in Dobanovci, Yugoslavia, a place special in her heart, on April 2, 1936. She came to the United States in 1967 first settling in California. She started her career as a seamstress and worked for a Couturier before moving to Pompano Beach, Florida in 1974. She continued her work as a seamstress and was a perfectionist in everything she did and touched. Anyone who encountered with her saw that and loved her and her demeanor. She was the happiest during the last 18 years when the grandchildren started arriving, that was her priority. Predeceased by her parents, Ivan and Stana Mavrenovic, sister, Nada. Left to cherish her memory are husband of 57 years, Vasa, son Patrick (Tamara), daughter Maria (Zeljko), adored grandchildren Mike, Milica, Nada,Dara,George, Talia. Memory eternal. Funeral services will be held at St Marks Greek Orthodox Church, Boca Raton on Tuesday December 30, 2014 at 1 pm and interment to follow at Boca Raton Cemetery . In lieu of flowers the family asks that a donation be made to St Jude Children's Research Hospital in her name.
