Donna A. Grigorian, 87, of Delray Beach, Florida passed away December 7, 2024 at Delray Beach Medical Center surrounded by family. Born January 19, 1937, Ma, as she was affectionately called, previously resided in Kensington, Connecticut for many years before relocating to Delray Beach in 1998. Born in Lithuania, Donna and her family migrated to Southern Germany as a child during a tumultuous and difficult time in history, settling in the small town of Erlaheim. She eventually emigrated to Connecticut as a young woman, where she met and married her soulmate, Charlie, spending nearly 63 years together raising a family. She worked at the Stop & Shop supermarket in New Britain, Connecticut spending many years managing the bakery department as a leader in the culinary arts. She was a member of United Food & Commercial Workers Union Local 919, and also a member of St Matthews Lutheran Church in New Britain.

Ma will be lovingly remembered by many family members and friends as one of the kindest, sweetest and compassionate people ever. She leaves her children, Gary of Hampton, Virginia, Karen of New Milford, Connecticut, Cindy of Delray Beach, Florida, and her beloved niece Heidi of Kensington, Connecticut. Donna will also be forever remembered by her daughter in law, Terry Grigorian, sons in law Geoff Graham of Delray Beach Florida and Pete Valenti of New Milford Connecticut, and Steven Lupini of Kensington, CT. Donna was also adored by her grandchildren, nieces and nephews — Megan, Kelsey, Kate, Jordan, Casey, Taylor, Peter, Alison, Kevin, April, Douglas, Annette, grand nephews Bryan and Michael Rouze. Donna was predeceased by her husband Charlie, her Aunt Albina, her brother Raymond, her sister Irene, her best friend and sister in law Violet, and her nephew Danny.

A celebration of Donna's life will be held in Delray Beach Florida later in January 2025. The family wishes to thank the Delray Medical Center Nuerological Intensive Care Unit and Trustbridge Hospice of Palm Beach County.  Donations in Donna's memory may be made to Hospice (Trustbridge) of Palm Beach County, Florida.
