Donald Patrick Malone, of Delray Beach, FL, passed away July 26, 2014. He is survived by his beloved wife, Patricia of 21 years, loving children; Kathleen (Dennis) Gallow, Kevin Malone, James (Kathy) Malone, sister Laura McPartland, 3 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson. Donald was predeceased by his first wife Edna. He was a WWII Coast Guard Veteran and received his masters from St. John's University in Education. He was retired from the NYPD as their magazine editor and cartoonist then retired from the Long Island Railroad in Public Relations before moving to Florida in 1997. Donald will always be remembered for his wit and sense of humor.
Family will receive friends Sun, Aug. 3, 2-4 & 6-8. A funeral mass will be celebrated Mon, 11am at the Ascension Catholic Church. Burial with full military honors will follow at the South Florida National Cemetery. Donations may be made in memory of Donald Malone to Birthline, 155 SE 3rd Ave, Delray Beach, FL 33483.
