Donald W. Bush, age 80, died on Monday December 3, 2018 at Hospice By The Sea .  He was born on August 23, 1938 in Beacon, New York to Kenneth and Veronica (Moranski) Bush and was an only child.

Don graduated from Beacon High School in Beacon N.Y.  He proudly served in the United States Army stationed in Korea as a top secret radio controller.  Upon returning from the army, he graduated from The New York Police Academy and became a police officer in Beacon, N. Y.   After working as a security manager for IBM for25 years, he retired.  Don married Elena Lopergolo in Marlboro, N.Y. on January 15, 1966 and lived in Hopewell Junction, N. Y. until Don was transferred by IBM to Boca Raton Florida in 1975 where he spent his remaining years.  Don had a great love of baseball.  He was a dedicated coach of both Little League and Big League teams for many years.  He enjoyed fishing with his son and friends.   He was a devoted husband and father and enjoyed working on home projects.

He is survived by his wife Elena, his three children Veronica Laura Lipp, Kenneth Walter Bush, and Jennifer Elena Johnson, his grandchildren Mariana Bryce Johnson and Silvia Rose Johnson, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Family will receive friends, Monday, December 10, 2018, 11am to 1pm with a 1pm funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the South Florida National Cemetery with full military honors.
