Dolores Jablonski Brown of Boynton Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully after a short illness on January 20, 2021 She is predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Thomas P. Brown. She is survived by her six children, their spouses, 12 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. Sons; Timothy and wife Maria Ugalde, his children Tim Jr. and wife Jess (Ferguson); Kevin and wife Elizabeth Packnett and daughter Isla; Erin, Meghan and daughter Sadie; Kevin and wife Naomi Rappaport, and children Lily and Emily; Terry and wife Carol Jo (Thurston) and their children, Terry and Sean and his wife Abbey (Smassanow), great grandchildren, Leo, Violet and Roscoe; Peter and wife Donna (Annoscia), their children Gina and husband Lino Cristofaro, Amanda and husband Nick Abdul and great grandchild, Lucas. Daughters; Elizabeth Brown-Ryan and partner Gene Hussey, Christine VanDerSchaaf and husband John, children Andrew and Marc.

She was born on September 15, 1922, daughter of Joseph and Anna (Malak) Jablonski, on a farm, outside Midland, Michigan, the youngest of eleven children, Mary (Leonard), Anthony, Agnes, (Bearse) Louis, Ann (Dehn), Dorothy, Basil, Conrad, Frances (Whitman), Lucille (Meyers) who have also predeceased her. She remembered traveling by horse and buggy with the family to live in the town of Midland. She and her family were very much involved with their local church, St. Brigid Catholic Church. As a young teenager, she was chosen to crown the Blessed Mother in the church's May crowning. Dolores grew into a lovely young woman, winning a number of beauty contests. In 1939 she was crowned Midland Glamour Girl, and was Queen of Dow Field Day attended by thousands. She was active and enjoyed the outdoors and ice skating. Mom, who worked as a secretary, and occasional model, at the Dow Chemical Company met Thomas Brown, from NY, who played baseball for the company. "Del" married "Tom" in 1946. They moved to Manhattan, NY around 1953. In 1958 the Brown family moved to Long Island, NY where they lived and continued to raise their six children. In 1998 they moved full time to Florida to be near some of their children.

Mom was the gentlest of women. She had a wonderful sense of humor, great curiosity for nature and just being with family. Her special calling was unconditional love and devotion in to her husband and children. She was the model of strength, resilience and calm, providing the spiritual core and moral compass for our family. We will miss her greatly. Mom….a life marked by giving.

Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More in the chapel, 10935 South Military Trail, Boynton Beach, Florida , 33436 on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at 10:00 am followed by internment at the South Florida National Cemetery, 6501 Fl-7, Lake Worth FL 33449.
