Daniela "Dani" Barsotti Vechione

of Delray Beach, Florida passed away surrounded by friends and family on December 3, 2019. Born August 1, 1945 in Bagni di Lucca, Italy.  Daniela grew up between Italy and Belgium before moving to the United States at the age of 12.  She arrived in Philadelphia and then moved to Boston, Massachusetts.  Despite not knowing the language she quickly ingrained herself in local culture.  A natural cook, she took a job at an Italian bakery in the North End of Boston at a young age.  She eventually found her way to New York where she met her husband John and gave birth to her beautiful daughter Jacqueline.  A successful career in banking allowed her to follow Jackie to Florida to be closer to her granddaughters.  She spent her days cooking, knitting, traveling and spending time with her many, many friends.  Daniela will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband John, her daughter Jacqueline and son-in-law Justin and her two beautiful granddaughters Mia Bella and Ava Adore.

A funeral service in memory of Daniela will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 11:00am at Ascension Catholic Church 7250 North Federal Highway, Boca Raton, Fl 33487.  Following the service will be a Celebration of Life at the Delray Oaks West Clubhouse in Delray Beach.
