It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Concetta Del Sorbo, a cherished wife, devoted mother, beloved grandmother, caring sister, and a treasured friend to many. She left us peacefully on January 20th, 2025, at the age of 67, after a life filled with adventure, love, and undying dedication to her family.
Born on July 26th, 1957, Concetta was the heart and soul of her family, a matriarch who exemplified strength, kindness, and compassion. She poured her love into every moment, always putting her family above all else. Her warm spirit and open heart made everyone feel like family, from lifelong friends to new acquaintances.
As a mother, she nurtured and guided her children with unwavering love and wisdom. As a grandmother, she created a legacy of affection and warmth, sharing stories, laughter, and countless memories with her grandchildren. Her role as a sister enriched her family bonds, showcasing her loyalty and support through all of life's ups and downs.
Concetta's presence will be deeply missed, yet her spirit will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and adventure will forever inspire us to embrace life with the same fervor she did.
She is survived by her loving husband, Gerard Del Sorbo; her children, Gerard Del Sorbo, Chris Del Sorbo, and Monique Del Sorbo, Amanda Del Sorbo and Philip Barofsky; her grandchildren, Gia Del Sorbo and Luca Del Sorbo; her siblings, Frank and Doris Cassarino and Ann Provinciali ; and countless friends whose lives she touched.
Family will receive friends Friday, January 24, 2025 10am - 8pm at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, January 25, 2025, 10:30am at Ascension Catholic Church, Boca Raton.
Rest in peace, dear Concetta. Your love, spirit, and adventurous soul will always be remembered and cherished.
