Claude Alvin King, 88, of Deerfield Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Ramona (née Wallen); his loving children, Bryan (Laurie) King and Michele (Ken) Cole; his brother, Ronnie (Joanie) King; cherished grandchildren, Meagan Griffith, Chelsea Cole, Logan (Victoria) Cole, Connor (Ludia) King, Sarah King, and Karley King; and great-grandchildren, Mason, Jake, Blake, Miles, Lane, Makenna, Dawson, Memphis, and Kylan.
Claude proudly served his country in the U.S. Marines and later enjoyed a long career as a skilled carpenter. His love for working with wood, fixing things, and creating art through drawing and painting reflected his creative spirit and hardworking nature.
Above all, Claude treasured time with his family. He will be remembered for his generous heart, willingness to help anyone in need, and for always putting others before himself. His kindness and selflessness touched everyone who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, November 17, 2025, at New Life Church of God, 140 NE 5th Ave, Deerfield Beach, FL 33441. Visitation will be held from 10:00 to 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Burial with military honors will follow at the South Florida VA National Cemetery in Lake Worth, Florida.
Claude's life was a reflection of love, service, and integrity—he will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
