Cinda L. Atkinson Kitchell, age 81, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2024. Born in Kokomo, Indiana, to Robert L. Atkinson and Olive Lou (Galbreath) Atkinson, Cinda lived a life full of love, faith, and devotion to those around her.

Cinda retired as a dedicated bookkeeper for St. Jude's Catholic Church in Boca Raton, Florida. She loved going to the beach. She was an aspiring artist who enjoyed painting and a music lover, particularly of the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, whose songs brought her great joy and comfort. Cinda had a keen sense of style, finding joy in decorating her surroundings, and was an avid caretaker of her cherished cats.

A devout Christian, Cinda was known as a prayer partner to many. Her unwavering faith and compassionate heart touched the lives of her family and countless friends. She had an incredible capacity for love as a mother and always gave her time and support generously.

Cinda is survived by her daughter, Beth (William) Waywood; her son, Todd (Magali A.) Kitchell; her nephew, Andrew, and his family; her cousins, Carol and Nancy, and their families, along with numerous friends and relatives who will all cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Robert L. Atkinson.

In keeping with Cinda's wishes, there will be no formal funeral or memorial service. Instead, she requested that those who knew and loved her honor her memory by listening to her favorite Christian hymns and sharing a sweet treat of cream puffs in her honor.

Her warmth, kindness, and enduring faith will be remembered and missed by all who knew her.
