CHARLES E. FORNATORA, 73 of Deerfield Bch FL, passed away on July 26, 2016. He was born in Manhattan NY on April 2, 1943 to his loving parents the late Alfred and Ann Fornatora.  Chuck is also preceded in death by his half-brother Thomas Duram.  Chuck graduated from Harvard Fields Private Military Academy then joined the United State Air Force from 1961 until 1965. While in the military he served in Viet Nam, Cambodia, Laos, Philippines and Germany.  In 1976 he surrendered his life over to God and his 12 Step Program.  He dedicated his life to the service of and helping thousands of others in need of help thru a 12 step program.  Chuck started a career in the Hotel Business by starting out in housekeeping then moving up into the Purchasing Dept. He then went on to South Seas Plantation, Captiva Island FL and was the Director of Purchasing.  In 1986 He was elected President of the Southwest Florida Suncoast Purchasing Management Association.  Chuck leaves behind the Love of his life and forever Soul Mate, Penney Payton, his loving Daughter Jennifer Hickox (Todd) Granddaughter Brittany O'Connell and Grandson David O'Connell III, sister Carol Steed (Steve) and nephew Brandon and thousands of members of his Bill W and Dr. Bob family.

Family will receive friends Friday, Aug. 5, 2016, 10am to 12pm Noon with a 12pm Noon service at the funeral home. Burial with full military honors will be held following the funeral service at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lake Worth, FL.
