Catherine B. Henning
Wake Forest, N.C.: On Sunday, May 25, 2014, Catherine B. Henning passed peacefully at home with her loving family by her side.
Catherine was born January 1, 1925, in Astoria, New York. She married the love of her life, Joseph A. Henning on January 8, 1949. They had 3 children and lived in Monroe, New York.
Catherine was a payroll administrator for Monroe Woodbury School System until she and her husband retired to Boca Raton, Florida. After her husband's passing, she lived in Carmel, Indiana and most recently, Wake Forest, North Carolina with her daughter Mona and son-in-law Murray.
Catherine was predeceased by her husband of 30 years, Joseph Henning, her parents John and Delia Geraghty and her son-in-law Murray Dunn.
She is survived by her loving family: Laura Stonefoot and husband Bruce, of Dunkirk, New York, Matthew Henning of Boca Raton, Florida and Mona Dunn of Wake Forest, North Carolina; granddaughters, Cassandra Briggs and husband Carey of Dundee, Fla and Courtney Dunn of Wake Forest, North Carolina; great grandchildren: Dylan, Devon and Jordan Briggs and Ashlyn, Aydia, Janessa and Nylah Dunn.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church, in Deerfield Beach, Florida and burial will be at Boca Raton Municipal Cemetery.
