Breny Desideria Vareles, 47, passed away Saturday, January 18 at her home in Boca Raton, FL after a valiant fight with breast cancer. She is survived by her husband John, son Kevin, stepdaughter Roxanna, and grandsons Aiden and Jack. She is also survived by her mother Maura Cornejo, sisters Monica Ruiz and Aviguey Bunay, and brother Jairo Andrade. Breny was born in Ecuador, S.A. on July, 11, 1966.
Breny worked for Lowe's in Boca Raton for the past 8 years where she formed beautiful friendships. She had a strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family and friends. She never complained, maintaining a brave and cheerful outlook of an optimistic future-even through countless treatments and chemotherapy. Breny will be remembered for her contagious smile, big heart, and ability to make everyone feel her warmth. Her signature gift of joy was shown through her constant smiling and her sweet demeanor. With a real zest for life, Breny loved to dance, listen to music, shop, and chat with her family. Breny and her husband recently traveled to France and Italy to fulfill one of her lifelong dreams.
Please join us on Thursday, January 23, 2014 for a memorial service at the Gary Panoch Funeral Home in Boca Raton. Visitation with family and friends is open from 11:00 a.m. followed by the memorial service at 12:30. We will lay her to rest with a committal service at 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady Queen of Peace Cemetery in Royal Palm Beach. Family and close friends are invited to a luncheon following the committal service at the home of Michael and Roxanna Lassiter.
